"Take 10" RRSP Loans
Your Credit Union is making saving for retirement a whole
lot easier through a CU "Take 10" RRSP Loan. The "Take 10"
loan allows you to get your RRSP growing by making contributions
now. RRSP contributions have never been so affordable. A "Take
10" loan is a 10 year loan granted to borrowers to maximize
their accumulated contribution room.
Funds borrowed through the "Take 10" program are to be used
to purchase a Credit Union or Ethical Funds RRSP only.

- Look at your tax assessment notice and find out how much
RRSP contribution room you have.
- Visit your credit union and take advantage of a CU "Take
10" RRSP loan to maximize your RRSP contribution.
- Set up an affordable repayment schedule. Sit back, relax
and watch your RRSP grow.
Student Loans
These loans can be set up to provide funds for educational
expenses including tuition, books, accommodation, food and
living. Any member who is enrolled at least 50% of full time
study requirements in an accredited post-secondary institution
or community college is eligible. Borrowers must provide confirmation
of enrolment.
Student loans are available through the Graduate Account of
$5,000.00 per year to a maximum of $30,000.00. Parents' signatures
may be required to guarantee the loan. This account is available
to students age 19 - 25.
Students over the age of 25 may be eligible for a student
loan through the normal lending channels, similar to a personal
loan.
Student loans are also available through the Government of
Saskatchewan and Canada. Your Credit Union can assist you in
researching these options.
Dealer Finance
Dealer Finance enables you to go to almost any automotive
or R.V. dealer in southwest Saskatchewan and request on the
spot financing through the Credit Union Dealer Finance Program.
Member's Life and Disability Insurance
Available on all Sandhills Credit Union loan products to assist
members in time of disability or in the event of death.
The insurance automatically makes your loan payments for
you or pays off the loan entirely, depending on the option
you
choose.
